Dua lipa, a British performer/singer born on 22 August 1995 in London. The year 2014 saw her debut as a singer and songwriter after having worked as an actor and model, she signed with Warner Bros Records. She released her debut self-titled album in 2017. This album reached number 3 on the U.K. Charts and produced eight singles. They included Be the one I.D.G.A.F The U.K. Number One single New Rules as well as the U.K. No. 1 single New Rules. She was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa Rexha and Dukagjin Lipa. By her maternal grandmother, Dua Lipa is Bosnian descendance. The ancestors of her can be traced back to Peja, a city in Kosovo. Her grandfathers were historians as well. She has a brother Gjin Lipa, and a younger sister Rina. Her father, a musician and lead singer from the Kosovan the band Oda had a profound influence on her musical tastes.
