Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 as the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation to reside in Atlanta, beginning with her great-grandfather who was a farmer John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a young man when he was interested in theatre. When he was a student of Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953 and, while working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the Air force. Both married in 2005 and had their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the air force and Walter enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. In 1964 Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program named Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed themselves. They also established an organization that lasted for six years called the Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) at the time.
